The Robert Morris men’s basketball team has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season.
Head Coach Andy Toole, who is entering his 15th season at the position, spoke on the upcoming matches against the Mountaineers, Blue Hens and Privateers.
“We are excited about the schedule we have created, it may be the first time in my head coaching career we have more non-conference home games than road games,” said Toole. “We want to be able to allow our student-athletes to test themselves against teams that will prepare us for Horizon League play. This schedule will allow us to understand who we are as a team and give us the chance to create the connectivity needed to chase a Horizon League championship.”
The Colonials will open their campaign at West Virginia on Nov. 4. The program will host the second annual Urban-Bennett Invitational Multi-Team Event (MTE) against Lindenwood, New Orleans and Stonehill from Nov. 14-17. Each team will face each other over the four day event.
Five games will be rematches from last season and the second half of a home-and-home series. Delaware (Nov. 7), Cornell (Nov. 21), Canisius (Nov. 27), Towson (Dec. 17), and St. Francis (Dec, 21) were all opponents in 2023-24.
The Colonials lone victory was against St. Francis after coming back down 18 in the second half.

The Colonials relied heavily on the transfer portal to fill the roster. Amarion Dickerson (Mineral Area) and Josh Omojafo (Gannon) headlined the transfer class. Dickerson was the nation’s top shot blockers among JUCO players, stifling 2.4 shots per game.
“Rim protection was another area we wanted to address. Now we have more length and size,” Toole said. “Working with them in the summer for a few weeks, there’s a long way to go, but we’re excited about the potential of this group coming together with our returning players and creating a really good, competitive team for the 2024-25 season.”
Toole and his new coaching staff look to improve on last year’s 10-22 record. The Horizon League schedule will be announced at a later date.
