This will be the 22nd time the two programs have met, with their latest meeting back in 2010. West Virginia leads the all-time series 19-2.
This is West Virginia’s first game of the Darian DeVries era, who coached at Drake from 2018 to 2024, leading to three NCAA Tournament berths. His son Tucker also transferred to West Virginia to follow his father to Morgantown.
For Robert Morris, head coach Andy Toole will enter his 15th season as Colonials coach. Toole will face challenges with a roster that has been hindered with transfers and graduates. Stephaun Walker, Josh Corbin, and Ben Kryskowiak have all entered the transfer portal since it opened earlier this month.
