RMU battled back to tie with Army Friday evening on the road.

RMU 4 (4-2-3, AHA 3-1-3), Army 4 (1-5-3, AHA -4-3): The Colonials traveled to West Point Friday for a weekend road series against Army. The Colonials were able to draw with Army 4-4 in game one. Sophomore Brady Ferguson got RMU on the board in the first period but Army answered with two goals to take a 2-1 lead. The Colonials were able to go into the first break tied as Zac Lynch found the back of the net late in the first period. RMU netted a goal in the second period via a Brandon Denham goal but Army’s two goal period sent them to the final period of play up 4-3. Early in the third period Denham scored his second goal to tie the score at 4. The game ended in the 4-4 tie after neither team was able to score in the one overtime period.  Junior Dalton Izyk started for the Colonials in goal making 12 saves. Sophomore goalie Andrew Pikul made his way into the game in the second period making 22 saves.
