Michigan 5 (4-0-1), RMU 3 (2-1-2): the Colonials took on #10 in the nation Michigan Friday evening in Ann Arbor, Michigan and RMU held two leads throughout and even scored the first goal when Brandon Denham found the back oft he net with a little under 4 minutes to play in the first period. Michigan tied the game at 1 in the second period but RMU answered with two goals of their own by Sophomore Spencer Dorwicz and senior Zac Lynch to take the 3-1 lead. However, The Wolverines went on to score the final four goals of the game, two of which were on power plays to secure them the 5-3 win on home ice. Senior Terry Shafer got the start for the Colonials in goal. Shafer made 42 saves.
