Ohio State 10; RMU 6: From the Woody Hays Athletic Center in Columbus, Ohio, the Robert Morris men’s lacrosse team opened its 2015 season with a four goal loss to the Buckeyes. OSU had a five goal lead early, but junior James Rahe was able to get one past Ohio State goaltender Tom Carey late in the first period. Eric Rankle was able to get some scoring going for RMU with a little under half to play in the second period with a goal of his own and then another from freshman Carter Yepsen to record his first goal as a Colonial and cut the Buckeye lead to 7-3. RMU would go onto score three more goals in the game, coming from freshman Zachary Bryant, Eric Wales and Luke Laszkiewcz. RMU finished with 26 shots, 11 turnovers and won five face-offs.
