RMU women’s hockey already has a total of five weekly awards this season.
This is Giannone’s third weekly award during her career. Last season, she received Forward of the Week twice.
Over the weekend, the colonials had a clean sweep over Saint Anselm. Giannone was a significant factor as she had a total of seven points over the weekend (3g, 4a).
She had a career-high four points in the first game, followed by three points in the second game. This marked her second consecutive multi-point showcase.

The Colonials begin conference play at RIT this weekend, November 1 at 6 p.m. and 2nd at 3 p.m. They are looking to get ahead in Rochester, N.Y. as they are 5-5-0 on the season so far.
