Timmy Moore signs with Greenville Swamp Rabbits
The third Colonial in the past three days is heading to Greenville as senior Timmy Moore agreed to a contract today with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, the ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers.
Moore joins Spencer Dorowicz and Robert Powersm who both signed with the Swamp Rabbits on Wednesday.
Moore, who skated all 41 games for the Colonials this season, put up 36 goals and 40 assists in his 136 career games. His 36 points this season were good enough for 4th on the team and 8th in all of Atlantic hockey.
Moore was thrust into the first line this season with the graduation of former Colonial and current Rapid City Rush member Daniel Leavens, becoming part of what was one of the top scoring lines in college hockey in the 2016-2017 season. With the big role to fill, Moore did not disappoint. His 36 points this season were good enough for 4th on the team and 8th in all of Atlantic hockey.
Moore, Powers and Dorowicz could look to make an immediate impact, as the Swamp Rabbits currently sit in last place in the Eastern Conference of the ECHL with a 21-37-7-1 record this season.
With just seven games left in the regular season for Greenville, it looks as though these Colonials’ future impacts will be made next season.
