After a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Robert Morris women’s basketball team will host the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain-Cats this season at the UPMC Events Center.

Last season, the Colonials’ first season in the Horizon League, they had a rough go of things both on and off the court dealing with COVID-19, transfers, and injuries. RMU finished with a 4-13 overall record and was eliminated in the first round of the Horizon League tournament by Northern Kentucky of 68-54.

Last year, the Mountain-Cats’ season came to an abrupt end on November 19 as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference canceled all 2020-21 winter sports. The last time the team was in action was all the way back on March 4, 2020, where they were defeated by California University (PA) by a score of 67-53 in the first round of the PSAC tournament.

As of now, this is the only scheduled game for Robert Morris at this point in the offseason. The game is scheduled for November 23 and a tip-off time has yet to be announced.
