The Horizon League unveiled its women’s cross country preseason poll for the 2023 season Thursday and placed the Colonials in tenth place.
Milwaukee was placed first in the conference behind seven first-place votes.

The Colonials placed tenth in last year’s Horizon League Championships in Rochester, Mich.
Head coach Brian Delsite has a young group in 2023, as no seniors are on the roster.
Junior Laura Croco and sophomore Erin LaQuatra led the way for the Colonials in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, recording their season-best times. Croco had a time of 24:15.5 in the 6K, while LaQuatra had clocked a 25:34.0 time.
The Colonials’ first meet is at the Fisher Invitational in New Wilmington, Pa. on Friday, Sept. 1.
