Syracuse 3 (16-13-3, CHA 12-4-2), RMU 2 (14-13-5, CHA 6-8-4): Robert Morris dropped game two of their two game weekend series in Syracuse, New York against the Orange. RMU opened the scoring with a goal from sophomore Brittany Howard in the second period but Syracuse scored a goal with a little under halfway to go in the period to tie the score at 1-1. the Orange scored two goals early in the third period to take the 3-1 lead. Kirsten Welsh cut Syracuse’s lead to one later in the final period but Syracuse held off the Colonials for the win. Junior Jessica Dodds made 27 saves for RMU in net but received the loss.
