Robert Morris announced Thursday night their replacement for previous head coach Chris Shaw.

Shaw departed RMU for Temple at the beginning of the year after leading the team to their first ever Horizon League postseason. Now Rick will come in and be expected to carry the team forward.
“I’m excited and honored to join the team and community at RMU,” said Rick. “Thank you to RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King, President Michelle Patrick and the search committee for this opportunity. I’ve really enjoyed connecting with everyone who’s been involved in the process.”
Rick spent the last two season as head coach of the Division II University of Findlay, making the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals both years. Rick also assisted at Division III Marietta. The Colonials new head coach has some familiarity to the Horizon League, playing in college at Wright State.
James Walker, Creighton’s women’s soccer head coach, described Rick as “one of the top up-and-coming female coaches in the game.”
