"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is the fourth movie in the newest "Planet of the Apes" saga. Taking place 300 years after "War for the Planet of the Apes" the movie is able to tell a new story without being tied down to previous characters. "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes"...

When I first heard that there was going to be a "Monk" movie, I was a bit skeptical. As much as I love "Monk", I thought the series ended on a beautiful note. The final two episodes wrapped up everything that all the characters, and all the episodes had been building up to. I...

Joshua Woodman, Reporter
November 6, 2023

It shouldn't be a controversial opinion to say it's been a barren run of films in the second half of 2023. Throughout the first months of 2023, there were a couple of standout films, but none were overperformers or record-breakers. Then in the summer, it looked as if the blockbuster...

October 27, 2022
The "V/H/S" franchise is a series of now five movies that all follow a similar formula. Each movie contains four to five V/H/S tapes that are shown as their own story. Most of the "V/H/S" films contain a B-plot where there is something else going on during the viewing of each tape. This formula is what makes the "V/H/S" franchise different than any other movie series.

Does “Halloween Ends” Do the Franchise Justice?

Finn Lyons, Contributor
October 18, 2022
"Halloween Ends" is the most recent and final entry in the "Halloween" franchise, at least for now. "Halloween Ends" was promoted as the final climactic battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, ending this classic franchise. In the end the movie falls completely flat and truthfully Halloween Ends is a disgrace to the franchise.
