The Center for Innovation & Outreach is hosting a town hall meeting. Any RMU student who is interested in attending is welcome to come.

Those who feel underrepresented are encouraged to attend. Dr. Anthony Robins, an Associate Professor of Biology in SEMS and D&I Coordinator for the school, is hosting the event.

The town hall meeting is on Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will occur virtually.

The Center for Innovation & Outreach said, “We will provide you with a special treat, some fun giveaways, and SET Credit for your time commitment.”

The last session was focused on racial issues, and this session will be focused on unconscious bias.

“Unconscious bias (or implicit bias) is often defined as prejudice or unsupported judgments in favor of or against one thing, person, or group as compared to another, in a way that is usually considered unfair.”
