There are a lot of activities happening this week on campus so let’s not waste another second and get right into things.
On Monday, February 19 at 5:00 PM, the Office of Residence Life is holding a “Decorate Your Own Water Bottle” event. The location of the event is to be determined. Unleash your imagination, turning a water bottle into a personalized masterpiece that reflects your individuality. You will receive a water bottle at this event.
There will be a “Pie a Phi” event happening on Tuesday, February 20 at 11:00 AM at the Gazebo. Stop by to raise money for ALS by pieing a brother of Phi Delta Theta. It will be $3 for 1 pie and $5 for 2. If you buy 2, you get a free can of Celsius while supplies last. This event is sponsored by Celsius.
Prepare for the career fair on Tuesday, February 20 at 11:00 AM at the Benjamin Rush Center. Meet with employers for one-on-one resume reviews, career fair questions and advice, and elevator pitch feedback.
There will be a “Ceiling Tile Painting Project” on Wednesday, February 21 at noon in the Olsen Family Basement. Represent your organization by painting a ceiling tile in The Basement. Materials will be provided.
A dorm selection presentation will take place Wednesday, February 21 at 5:00 PM in the Ross Lounge. Learn about the selection process and how to select a room and create a roommate group for apartments and suites. Free pizza will be provided.
Join Dr. Patrick for an informal meet and greet on Thursday, February 22 at noon at the President’s Office in the Business Building! These exclusive events will take place throughout the academic year, giving students a chance to visit the President’s Office and the Conference Room. You will learn about the future of RMU, share some feedback, eat delicious food, and receive an exclusive gift!
There will be a “Black History Month: Wild ‘N Out” event happening on Friday, February 23 at 5:30 PM at Olsen Hall (formerly Hopwood Hall). Join The Black Student Union, NCNW, and C100 for a night of Wild ‘N Out! Don’t forget to rep your Spirit Week gear at the event.
Finally, the show “Heathers” is happening this weekend with shows premiering Friday at 7:30 PM. There will be two more showings, one on Saturday at 7:30 PM and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM.
