Travelers to Robert Morris University on Monday met construction crews and traffic delays after the start of a new paving project.
The paving project is part of the construction of the UPMC Events Center. Traffic delays are expected throughout the entirety of the project.
“Campus Drive roadway paving project will occur on Monday and Tuesday,” said Glenn Jeletic, Assistant Director of Administrative Services.
“Folino Construction Inc. will be milling and repaving two sections of Campus Drive starting at 7 a.m. on Monday and into Tuesday starting at University Blvd. and ending at Barry Center,” said Jeletic. “Safety flaggers will be maintaining single lane traffic to enter and exit campus.”
Expect minor traffic delays throughout the remainder of the project.
