6/22/2021 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Hancock Hall. Officers responded and were unable to detect an odor of burnt marijuana at this time. This case is closed.

6/22/2021 – Maintenance Service Requested – Property owner next to campus reported a tree from RMU property fell onto her property. RMU Maintenance was notified and removed the tree from the fence. This case is closed.

6/23/2021 – Suspicious Vehicle Check – RMU Maintenance reported a vehicle parked outside Lexington Hall with its engine running for hours. Officers responded and located the vehicle. The vehicle’s owner was identified and the vehicle was turned off. This case is closed

6/23/2021 – Departmental Information – RMU Operations reported a cleaner found suspected marijuana while cleaning Gallatin Hall. Officers responded and took possession of the bag. This case is closed.

6/23/2021 – Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated – Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. RMU maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled and the panel was reset. This case is closed.

6/24/2021 – Medical Emergency – A Parkhurst employee reported a medical emergency in Romo’s Cafe. Valley medics arrived on scene and transported the employee to the hospital. This case is closed.

6/24/2021 – Theft of Property, Lost, Mislaid – A parent reported their son’s hockey stick was missing from the RMU Island Sports Center. RMU Detective followed up and the parent found the hockey stick. This case is closed.

6/24/2021 – Traffic Stop – RMU Police observed a vehicle driving without its headlights on. The officer conducted a traffic stop and explained the reason for the stop. The driver was warned. This case is closed.

6/25/2021 – Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated – Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from the shower. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

6/25/2021 – Failure to Stop at Stop Sign – RMU Police observed a vehicle that failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The officer conducted a traffic stop and explained the reason for the stop. The driver was warned. This case is closed.

6/24/2021 – Departmental Information – Students requested access into the Nuclear Medicine Lab to film for a project. Access was granted but when officers realized there was faculty presented they were asked to leave. The students finished filming and cooperated with the officers. This case is closed.

6/25/2021 – Assist other Police Agency – Moon Dispatch requested a female officer to search a female prisoner at the Moon Police Station. This case is closed

6/25/2021 – Medical Emergency – RMU Island Sports Center staff was approached by a hockey player reporting a medical emergency on the rink. Valley medics arrived on the scene and transported the player to the hospital. This case is closed.

6/25/2021 – Departmental Information – RMU Island Sports Center Public Safety Officer was approached by a visitor who stated their vehicle was hit in the parking lot. The officer took pictures of the damage. A note was left by the suspect with their name and number. This case is closed.
