Before the first session I attended I was quite nervous, I didn’t know what to expect going into each session, as they were all different. Although Mary Henige, did a great job speaking and educating students about the variety of PR jobs that are out there, and to highlight different industries as well. She also talked about the requirements to be in the Public Relations field and crisis management seemed to be a reoccurrence during her presentation. Henige made it very clear that it is important to have a goal and the determination to reach it. I liked how she uses a thrill tactic by explaining that those who do not strive above and beyond to succeed will find it harder to get into any business especially Public Relations.
